The Team

Prior to founding Artisan, Greg was a partner at Sterling Real Estate Partners. Previously, Greg was head of capital markets and a member of the investment committee at CGI Strategies, a real estate investment and development platform with $1B AUM. Greg has spent nearly 15 years in investment banking and hedge funds. Greg was an investment banker at Macquarie and Merrill Lynch in London and Credit Agricole in Vienna.

Greg holds an MS in Real Estate Development from Columbia University, an MS in Economics from Bocconi University, and a BA in Finance from Franklin University Switzerland.

Prior to joining Artisan, Steve was VP of Real Estate Investment Banking at Sienna Capital Partners, where he focused on emerging sponsors, acquisitions and development underwriting, and execution and structuring of programmatic JVs and platform transactions. Steve started his career in real estate investment banking at J.P. Morgan in New York, where he closed $7.3B of real estate securities transactions and worked on several REIT M&A and LBO transactions. Steve has spent nearly 10 years in real estate finance and investment and is also an active-duty veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Steve holds both an MS in Global Real Estate Development and an MS in Real Estate Finance & Investment from New York University, and a BA in Financial Economics from Columbia University.

Nancy started her legal career at the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis, working on venture capital, M&A, and securities transactions. She then moved on to Wildman Harrold Allen & Dixon, where she became a partner. After Wildman, Nancy served as the Assistant General Counsel for Midway Games Inc. (publicly listed). After leaving Midway, and prior to joining Artisan, Nancy worked as a sole practitioner.

Nancy holds a JD from the University of Chicago Law School, and a BS in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
