The Team

Prior to founding Artisan, Greg was a partner at Sterling Real Estate Partners. Previously, Greg was head of capital markets and a member of the investment committee at CGI Strategies, a real estate investment and development platform with $1B AUM. Greg has spent nearly 15 years in investment banking and hedge funds. Greg was an investment banker at Macquarie and Merrill Lynch in London and Credit Agricole in Vienna.

Greg holds an MS in Real Estate Development from Columbia University, an MS in Economics from Bocconi University, and a BA in Finance from Franklin University Switzerland.

Prior to joining Artisan, Jake was Director of Acquisitions at Prime Capital Investments, where he led investment and asset management. He has held roles at Wilshire Finance Partners, a private debt REIT, and Flynn Group Appraisal Management, the exclusive due diligence provider to Axos Bank’s Income Property Lending and Commercial & Industrial (C&I) divisions. His background includes the origination and underwriting of a wide range of debt products, as well as the valuation of development and repositioning projects nationwide.

Jake studied International Politics & History at Jacobs University Bremen, Germany. 

Nancy started her legal career at the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis, working on venture capital, M&A, and securities transactions. She then moved on to Wildman Harrold Allen & Dixon, where she became a partner. After Wildman, Nancy served as the Assistant General Counsel for Midway Games Inc. (publicly listed). After leaving Midway, and prior to joining Artisan, Nancy worked as a sole practitioner.

Nancy holds a JD from the University of Chicago Law School, and a BS in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
